Hughes takes a pragmatic approach to family law matters and is sympathetic to the challenges and needs of his clients.

Hughes holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Deakin University. He was admitted to the Supreme Court in 2018. Hughes has been specialising solely in family law since 2021.

Hughes comes from a diverse legal background and has experience in family law, commercial litigation, property law, wills and estates, criminal law and intervention order matters. Hughes draws on this experience to provide his clients with holistic and thorough advice.
